Tapped a Southern Brown Ale Tonight

I tapped the 2nd 5 gallon keg of my Southern Brown tonight. It has been conditioning in my fridge at around 45 for a few weeks now.
I primed this keg to reach about 1 CO2 volume, just as I did for the keg I brought to the December meeting. At 45 degrees, there wasn't enough pressure to push it through the tap line so I added a little extra gas. I will not pull this one through the beer engine as I don't think I can consume it in a short amount of time, and would like to have it on tap for a few weeks. It seems a little flat right now without the beer engine agitation so I will allow it to force carbonate some.
This keg is a little dryer than the first and has a more mellow malt flavor. It has gotten better with a little conditioning. I will get this one bottled for the COC HBA judging during the January meeting.
I have 5 taps flowing right now but nothing fermenting so I'd better get to work. I think I will make an American Pale Ale this weekend for the COC HBA judging in February.
