Asher Brewing's Brew Betties are touring a hop farm this month. Let's join them!

Will and Lisa will give a tour of the farm and talk about how they got started, their integrated pest management program, harvesting processes, measurements of hop quality, their trellis system, and any other questions we come up with.

After the to ... ur we will settle next to the rows of hops for a tasting of beers which represent specific hop varieties. Impress your friends with your ability to identify which hops were used to produce that piney, grapefruity or floral aroma and flavor.

With your $10 contribution (cash, please...no credit card machine at the farm!) we will provide you with beer samples, light snacks and give a donation to the farm for their efforts and hospitality.

Please bring a camp chair for yourself (maybe an extra for those who forget), mosquito spray (it's on a wetland), and whatever else you need to be comfy for the evening.
