Brew Like An Egyptian
Conversation Lounge: Brew Like An Egyptian
Wednesday, Sep 29 6:30p
at Denver Art Museum, Denver, CO
Experience the sights, tastes, feels, and aromas of life during the reign of the Boy King. Join us Wednesday Nights in September for a chat with individuals whose passions and expertise for all things ancient is contagious.
Beer was one of the most popular drinks in Ancient Egypt-even more so than water! Andy Brown, head brewer at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, chats about how he created an Egyptian inspired brew and Egyptian ingredients used for the delectable drink. Join us for a taste and you will see how a brew comes together, at what point you steep the grains, orange peel, aromatics, mash, ferment, spices, carbonate, patience, and play.
