The first of the second runnings will be ready between 9:30-10am. Show up early to receive a lottery number and be the first to savor the flavor of the second runnings of the Centaurian Barleywine. The estimated starting gravity (before boil) of the first pull will be approx. 1.090 and it goes downhill from there. This is called the Iron Brewer because this year there will be a competition at the May 2008 HBA meeting. There will be a few rules. You can add only 1 lb of additional fermentable per 5 gal batch, (use any specialty grains, any hops and any yeast.
