Friday September 17th
Noon – Sierra Nevada Estate Harvest ‘Kill-a-Keg’.
Join Us for one of the craziest events of the year. We will see how long it takes us to pour a keg of Sierra Nevada’s Estate Harvest Ale. Normally we do this with regular Harvest Ale, But this year, since the GABF is so early, it’s not ready, but their Estate Harvest Ale is. Estate Harvest Ale is a Wet-Hopped Ale (the hops are picked & thrown directly into the brew kettle without drying them first) made with Hops & Barley from their own fields near the brewery. Wet-Hopped beers Celebrate the fresh Harvest & have a slightly grassy nose that is unique & fleeting. Last year we were able to pour the keg in only 12 minutes, beating our previous record set in 2008 of 15:04. See if we can better our mark. Chris has been training for this since last year, he’s been on a strict training regimen of beer pouring & drinking with his training partners (pretty much anyone that will sit next to him), let’s see if it pays off.

2pm – New Holland Brewing/Mutineer Magazine ‘A Child’s Right’ Benefit
New Holland Brewing and Mutineer Magazine bring you some spectacular beers including a limited release Collaborative beer & other special New Holland Beers (like a cask of Dragon’s Milk) as well as Hopquila (a 100% Barley Malt wash, double distilled then infused with Centennial Hops). Proceeds from this event will benefit ‘A Child’s Right’ a charity that works on providing water filtration for children in Nepal.

4pm – Anderson Valley Brewing Heee’s Baaack !
So after a multi-year Hiatus Brewing in Singapore, Fal Allen is back at Anderson Valley, Let’s try out some of their Harder-to-find beers on draft like Brother David’s Double & Imperial IPA.

10 pm – Avery Brewing Rarities.
We’re pulling out some rarities from the vaults at Avery, like a keg of last year’s Moloch and a couple of other’s you won’t find on the shelf at your local good beer store.
