2010 Beerdrinker of the Year National Finals February 27, 2010 (Sat) Be on hand for the final round of competition in the 2010 Beerdrinker of the Year National Finals at the Wynkoop Brewing Co. The best beer drinkers from all over the USA will be trying to convince a lively panel of judges that they know it all when it comes to beer. The winner gets free beer for life at the Wynkoop and $250 in beer from their local brewpub or bar. Can anyone top the performance of last year's winner Cody Christman? Open to the public. Coming in at 11% ABV, this triple IPA is hopped three times more than a standard IPA and dry-hopped four different times. This is a don’t miss! Left Hand St. Patrick's Day Party March 17, 2010 (Wed) March 17th is going to be a good time at the Tasting Room. Every year, on St. Paddy's Day, the Left Hand clan of brewers, reps, and founders get together and make a raucous for a few hours. They'll sing, they'll yell, but everyone has a blast. They'll have some free food and pull out a special keg, and hopefully, before the band drinks too much, we'll have some good music. The "band" starts at 6pm-ish. | ||

Competition Announcement! The Indian Peaks Alers homebrew club is proud to announce the 2010 Peak-to-Peak ProAm Homebrew Competition. The competition will be open to all BJCP beer styles as defined in the 2008 guidelines, however as we're limiting the competition scope to beers, no meads or ciders will be accepted. Entries will be accepted between March 8th and 19th and the Judging will be conducted at Left Hand Brewing in Longmont, CO on March 27th. We will have medals for the top three beers in each flight as well as prizes. | ||
