American Craft Beer Week May 17-23, 2010 (Mon-Sun) Last year's American Craft Beer Week celebration boasted a record number of breweries celebrating the week that highlights the positive impact of small and independent breweries. Over 200 breweries posted more than 500 events in recognition of the 2009 American Craft Beer Week. Also, Breweries along with beer enthusiasts signed the Declaration of Beer Independence, a document that celebrates America's small and independent craft brewers. Twisted Pine Brewing Company Description: Monday - "Independence Ale" tapping, $2 pints all night Tuesday - Beer Trivia and t-shirt giveaways Wednesday - Keep the pint night Friday - Happy hour all night long Saturday - 1/2 off sampler trays 12-4pm Sunday - Brewery Olympics Benefit - Events include blind keg tapping, frozen t-shirt contest, ridiculous relay race, beer trivia and chug off. $15 entry fee per team(2-6 people) Winners get free gear, gift certificates and bragging rights. Pumphouse Brewery and Restaurant will be holding a beer tasting/benefit to raise partial proceeds for the humanitarian group: Doctors Without Borders. Festival Entry: $30 dollars is the door price to the public and attendees will receive a pint glass, one festival meal and ten 4-oz. taster tickets to start. Additional 4-oz taster tickets will be $1 each. Doctors Without Borders will be our beneficiary this year after tragic earthquakes in both Haiti and Chile have devastated both countries. Sixteenth Annual EIGHT SECONDS OF FROTH May 22, 2010The High Plains Drafters Homebrew Club of Cheyenne, Wyoming cordially invite you to enter Wyoming's oldest sanctioned homebrew competition - Eight Seconds of Froth. Homebrew entries will be evaluated by experienced judges at Eight Seconds of Froth. The number of Categories will be determined after all of the entries are received. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries in each Category, as well as for a Best of Show. This year's competition will be held at the Historic Plains Hotel in Downtown Cheyenne. | ||
