Denver Rare Beer Tasting II Downtown Denver will once again host a premier tasting of rare and exotic beers on Sept. 17th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Wynkoop Brewery to benefit the Pints for Prostates campaign. The 2nd Denver Rare Beer Tasting is taking place in Mile High City during the annual Great American Beer Festival when thousands of beer fans will be in the city. The event will feature a select group of more than 20 of America’s top craft brewers each pouring a legendary beer. (all day)

This year we are working with a great charity - Pints for Prostates, and we opened it up to a few other breweries to join us. Oct. 16th 5th Annual Fresh Hop Fest Join us for a celebration of the Hop Harvest. We will be pouring Many Wet Hopped beers from breweries from all over the country including beers from Oskar Blues, Great Divide, Sierra Nevada, Port Brewing, just to name a few. Normally hops are dried as they come out of the field before being used in brewing, Wet Hopped beers are made by adding fresh, undried hops into the brew kettle giving the beers a slightly grassy aroma that lasts for only a short time. | ||
