Hop Barley and the Alers
Recipe: Dubbel-style

Ingredients given away at the Aug2002 meeting,
brewed by Eric Belmont.
Fermentables
- 3 lbs Alexanders pale malt extract syrup
- 3 lbs Alexanders Munich malt extract syrup
- 0.5 lbs special B (steeped in 150F water for 15min)
- 0.5 lbs Briess dextrin (steeped in 150F water for 15min)
Hops
- 1 oz Styrian Goldings pellet hops 4.4% (4.4HBU) boiled for 60 min
- 0.5 oz Styrian Goldings (15min)
Procedure
- OG 1042 in 5.5 gallons ; 1046 in 5 gallons
- Wyeast 1388 (65-75F, try to keep at cooler end of this)
- can use White Labs WLP500 yeast or Wyeast 3522
