Join us on Sunday, July 18th for the release of Wheelsucker Wheat Ale and the Kick-Off Party for the 2nd Annual Tour of BoulDurango. Mingle with the founding brewers of Avery Brewing, Oskar Blues Brewing and Ska Brewing as they--along with their respective staffs--carbo-load and prepare for the 470 ride from Boulder to Durango.

The first edition of Wheelsucker Wheat was made at Ska Brewing in 2009 and Brew # 2 (to be released on 7/18) is currently chugging away in fermentation in tanks at Avery Brewing!

The 3rd Annual race will take place at The Avery Tap Room again this year. Participants of all levels and styles--walk, jog or sprint--are welcome and encouraged to sign up for this family friendly event! All entrants will receive a commemorative tech tee shirt, finish line refreshments and TASTY food along with the opportunity to win BIG prizes from Avery Brewing and running related establishments. All Avery beers debut with new labels, new 6-packs and new case packaging this month. Time to celebrate the new look! Come and throw down with us at The Avery Tap Room on Friday, June 25th from 6PM-9:30PM in our Barrel-Aging Cellars.

We'll have $2 pint specials on favorite beers like Avery IPA, White Rascal, Out of Bounds Stout and more, plus we'll be raging to the tunes of The Mike Woodard Band, giving out some new Avery schwag and raffling tons of Avery-centric prizes!

July Meeting - Earn Your Brew Day

We got to talking about new ideas for meetings of The Society for the Pursuit of Hoppiness, and we realized that we're always doing stuff for ourselves. Why not give back and make a real difference in our community?! There are so many great causes that stand to benefit from the combined efforts of 40-50 grown men and women volunteering their time.

We'll be helping out with Volunteer Outdoor Colorado (VOC) with their invasive weed removal project on James Peak.
